Spring really seems to want to show up this past week! The clocks spring forward tonight so queue the adjustment period.
But today I hosted an on-demand, private letterpress lesson and I really loved how the workshop participant embraced what it is to see the plus side of imperfection — a.k.a. almost everything in letterpress printing and I mean that in the best way possible.
When I have completely new-to-letterpress students I make sure (and most have an idea) that they can expect imperfections and to embrace the less-than-perfect and appreciate the hand-crafted quality and results that surface as a result of this process.
